AFK Journey codes are short strings from Farlight Games that add Diamonds, Invite Letters, Gold and Origami Hamsters (a hero upgrade item) to your account. Farlight usually drops them around season launches, anniversaries, collaborations and livestreams. Most codes work once per account, and many stop working after a few weeks or once a redemption cap is reached.
Active AFK Journey codes (October 2026)
The first code comes from the official AFK Journey X account. The rest are older codes still reported as active in October 2026, listed with their reported rewards. Rewards land in your in-game Mail after you redeem.
| Code | Reward | Note |
|---|---|---|
VMj522yLkrKDa | Special gift (contents not announced) | Official October gift code, redeemable Sep 30 to Oct 31, 2026, 16:00 UTC |
AFKJ2YRS2026 | 20 Epic Invite Letters, 100,000 Gold | Second anniversary code, from August 2026; reports are mixed |
ZC1JJ3UU0N | 1,000 Diamonds, 5 Epic Invite Letters, 20,000 Gold | Older code; some reports say it has expired |
H7PDTYNR61 | 1,000 Diamonds, 5 Epic Invite Letters, 20,000 Gold | Older code; some reports say it has expired |
4iYTsNbdXC | 1,000 Diamonds, 5 Invite Letters, 20,000 Gold | Mixed case; some reports say it has expired |
HQC0ZFSC6QYTX | 500 Diamonds, 5 Origami Hamsters, 50,000 Gold | Older code; some reports say it has expired |
E8BESLBQZLZUD | 500 Diamonds, 10 Origami Hamsters, 50,000 Gold | Older code; no longer widely reported |
B52F8N5OPOG7K | 500 Diamonds, 10 Origami Hamsters, 50,000 Gold | Older code; no longer widely reported |
AFKJ10 | 10 Summon Tickets | Very old code, still reported as always active |
Two more codes are newly reported but unconfirmed: 6kMtRBeUa5nh (3,000 Diamonds, reported in early October) and BadenWithThane (500 Diamonds). No expiry date is given for either, so expect them to fail if they have ended.
If a code in the table returns an error, it has most likely ended. Redeem the official code first, since it is the only one with a confirmed end date.
Expired AFK Journey codes
These codes have ended. They are here so you can stop retrying them. Some older reports still show a few of them as active (JOURNEY2YRS is one), which is the most common reason people get an "expired" error.
z6iBgiJBFBZjC (Mid-Autumn Festival code, ended October 24, 2026 at 16:00 UTC)
CROWNOFASHES, BOUNDFORSAVANNAH, BigCollabComing, JOURNEY2YRS, CheerforAnniv, LILITHHAPPY2026, SPRINGFEST2026, AFKJWITHME2026, NEWJOURNEY2026, SANTAJOURNEY, AFKJTURKEYDAY, PUMPKIN2025, OCT1AFKJ, AFKJSeptember, ThornsofDevotion, NewSeasonTOD151, AFKJSEASONGIFT2025, AFKJMOONLIGHT, AFKJMagicSeason, SoliseWelcomeBack, RAVIONINDRIS, ZVZCJAIAZE, OnederfulAFKJ, LILITH12TH, AFKJourney88, AFKJUPDATE
Launch-era codes from 2024 (BETATESTING, WELCOME, LAUNCH, THANKYOU and the creator codes such as AFKJourneyCreator) have all ended too.
How to redeem AFK Journey codes
AFK Journey codes are redeemed inside the game. We could not find an official website that redeems AFK Journey codes, so treat any site that asks for your login to "redeem" or "generate" codes as a scam.
- Open AFK Journey and finish the opening tutorial if you are on a new account. The Promo Code option may not show until you do.
- Tap your avatar (profile picture) in the top-left corner.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Open the Others tab.
- Under Account Services, tap Promo Code.
- Paste the code exactly as written and tap the confirm (tick) button.
- Open your Mail to collect the rewards.
Some translations name these menus differently, such as "Miscellaneous" for Others or "Promotion Code" for Promo Code. The path is the same.
Why an AFK Journey code is not working
| Error or problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Code expired or invalid | The code has ended or reached its redemption cap | Move it to your expired pile and try the next one |
| Code already used | You redeemed it before, on any device | Each code works once per account |
| Nothing happens after redeeming | Rewards go to Mail, not straight to your bag | Check Mail and claim the attachment |
| No Promo Code button | New account still in the tutorial | Finish the opening chapter, then check Settings again |
| Typo error on a correct code | Letters like O and 0, or I and l, were swapped, or a space was copied | Copy and paste the code, and match uppercase and lowercase |
Reports disagree on whether AFK Journey codes are case-sensitive. Codes like 4iYTsNbdXC mix upper and lower case, so entering every code exactly as shown avoids the question.
Where official AFK Journey codes are announced
Official codes come from Farlight Games through these channels:
- The official AFK Journey X account (@AFKJourney), which posts codes with season trailers and update notes.
- The official AFK Journey Discord server, where the announcements channel carries codes and event giveaways.
- The official AFK Journey Facebook page and YouTube livestreams, where some codes are revealed live.
- In-game Mail and event pages, which sometimes include a code during anniversaries and collaborations.
The Veil of Memories season started on September 23, 2026, replacing Crown of Ashes. Farlight has posted a new gift code roughly once a month recently, so check the X account again around November 1, when the current code ends.
AFK Journey vs AFK Arena codes
AFK Journey is a separate, newer game from the older AFK Arena. They share a world and some heroes, but they are different games with different accounts and different codes. An AFK Journey code will not work in AFK Arena, and the other way round. If you still play the original, see our AFK Arena codes list. For another hero collector with regular codes, our RAID: Shadow Legends promo codes page covers the same kind of rewards.
FAQs
What are the newest AFK Journey codes?
The newest code is VMj522yLkrKDa, an October gift code announced on the official AFK Journey X account. It can be redeemed until October 31, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, and its contents were not itemized. The biggest older code still listed is AFKJ2YRS2026, which gives 20 Epic Invite Letters and 100,000 Gold.
Where do I enter codes in AFK Journey?
Tap your avatar in the top-left corner, open Settings with the gear icon, go to the Others tab and tap Promo Code. Paste the code, confirm, then collect the rewards from Mail.
Why can't I find the Promo Code button in AFK Journey?
On a brand-new account the option can be missing until you finish the opening tutorial. Keep playing the first chapter, then check the Others tab in Settings again.
Are AFK Journey codes case-sensitive?
Reports disagree. Some codes mix upper and lower case letters, so copy and paste each code exactly as it appears to be safe.
Can I redeem AFK Journey codes on more than one account?
Yes. Each code works once per account, so every account you own can claim it while the code is still live.
Do AFK Arena codes work in AFK Journey?
No. They are separate games with separate accounts, and codes from one do not work in the other.
