Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass In November 2026

Xbox typically announces games leaving the library at least two weeks in advance. Once a game is removed, your save data is kept for 30 days. If you buy the game within that window, your progress carries over exactly where you left off. Xbox also offers a discount on leaving titles for active subscribers before they are removed.

How Xbox Game Pass Waves Work

Microsoft announces Game Pass additions in two waves per month. Wave 1 is posted in the first week and covers games arriving in the first half of the month. Wave 2 follows around the third week and covers the second half. Dates in the table above are based on the latest official announcement and are subject to change.

What Is a Day One Release on Game Pass?

A Day One game launches on Game Pass on the same day it releases worldwide. You do not need to wait or pay anything extra. It is available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on launch day. Premium and Essential do not get Day One releases.

What Happens to Your Game Pass Saves?

Your save data is never deleted when a game leaves Game Pass. Progress is stored on your console or synced to the Xbox cloud. If you resubscribe or buy the game later, you pick up exactly where you left off.
