Best Amazon Price Trackers in 2026: Keepa, CamelCamelCamel, and Tools for Amazon India and Flipkart

Amit YadavAmit Yadav··6 min read

Amazon changes prices constantly, and the “was” price on a listing is not a reliable guide to what an item usually costs. A price tracker shows you the real price history of a product and emails you when it drops to the number you want. This guide covers the tools that work in 2026 for Amazon in the US, UK, Europe and India, plus the ones that also track Flipkart, and which one to use for what.

Short version: Keepa for the most detailed history on every Amazon store, CamelCamelCamel for a simple free tracker with alerts, Price History or BuyHatke if you shop on Amazon.in and Flipkart.

How Amazon price trackers work

They record the price of each product several times a day, plot it on a chart, and let you set a target price. When the listing hits it, you get an email or push notification. Most track three prices separately: Amazon’s own price, new from third party sellers, and used. The chart is the useful part: you can see whether the current discount is real, how low the item went during the last sale, and whether the price cycles.

Keepa

Keepa is the most complete tracker and the one most deal hunters use. It covers Amazon US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, CA, JP, IN, MX, BR and AU, tracks billions of products, and its browser extension inserts the price history chart directly under the product title on Amazon, so you never leave the page.

Setting a Keepa price drop alert

What you get free: the price chart on every product page, price drop alerts by email, browser push or Telegram, a wish list import, and deal search filtered by category and discount.

Keepa deal search

What costs money: the paid Data plan (around 19 euros a month) adds sales rank history, Buy Box history, stock levels and export tools. It is built for sellers; buyers do not need it.

Keepa also has Android and iOS apps, so alerts work on your phone.

Best for: anyone who wants the chart on the product page and shops on more than one Amazon store.

CamelCamelCamel

CamelCamelCamel has been tracking Amazon since 2008 and is completely free. Paste an Amazon URL or search on the site to see the history, or install the Camelizer extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari to see it on Amazon itself.

Setting a price drop alert on CamelCamelCamel

Alerts are by email only, and you can set a target for each of the three price types. It supports Amazon US, UK, CA, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP and AU. There is no Amazon India support and no phone app, which is the main reason to pick Keepa instead.

Best for: a simple, no account required look at whether a deal is really a deal.

Honey (PayPal)

Honey price history on Amazon

Honey is a coupon extension owned by PayPal that also shows a 30 to 120 day price history on Amazon products and lets you add items to a Droplist to be told when they fall. The history is shorter than Keepa’s and the extension is heavier, but if you already use it for coupon codes there is no reason to add another tool.

Honey options in Chrome

Best for: people who already have Honey installed.

Price trackers for Amazon India and Flipkart

Keepa supports Amazon.in, but nothing above tracks Flipkart, Myntra or Ajio. These do.

Price History

Price History app for Amazon and Flipkart

Price History tracks Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Croma and a dozen other Indian stores. Paste a product link on the site or share it to the Android app and you get the chart, the lowest price ever, and a price drop alert. Free with ads. It is the most reliable of the Indian trackers we have tried and the one to start with.

BuyHatke

BuyHatke does the same job with a browser extension that shows the history on the product page, compares the same item across Amazon and Flipkart, and finds coupons. Its Android app has the same features. Good if you want cross store comparison as well as history.

Flipshope

Flipshope is a browser extension and app focused on alerts and flash sales: it will auto refresh and notify you when a sold out item is back or a price drops, across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio.

The Price Dog

The Price Dog price alert

A simpler alert only service for Amazon.in and Flipkart: paste a link, set a target, get an email. No chart, no extension. Fine if all you want is the alert.

How to read a price history chart

  • A flat line with occasional dips means the item only drops during events (Prime Day, Big Billion Days, Black Friday). Set an alert at the last dip’s price and wait.
  • A sawtooth pattern means the seller cycles the price to make “discounts” look bigger. Buy at the bottom of a cycle, ignore the strikethrough price.
  • Third party price far below Amazon’s usually means a marketplace seller with a different condition or warranty. Check the seller before buying.
  • No history or a very short one means the listing is new or was relaunched with a new product ID, a common trick to reset the “was” price. Search for the same product name to find the older listing’s history.

FAQ

Does Amazon have a built in price tracker?
No. Amazon shows a “lowest price in 30 days” line on some listings in some countries, and you can add items to a list, but it will not alert you to drops. You need one of the tools above.

Is Keepa free?
The price charts, alerts and deal search are free. Only the seller focused data plan is paid.

Which is better, Keepa or CamelCamelCamel?
Keepa has more stores, a phone app and more alert channels. CamelCamelCamel is simpler and has the longer track record. For buyers either is fine; Keepa wins if you use Amazon India or want the chart inside the Amazon app.

Can I track Flipkart prices with Keepa?
No. Use Price History or BuyHatke for Flipkart.

Do price trackers work in the Amazon mobile app?
Not inside the app itself. Use the tracker’s own app (Keepa, Price History, BuyHatke all have one) and share the product link to it from the Amazon app.
