Rockstar has named the first six radio stations in GTA 6, and one of them is an old friend. Flash FM, the pop station from 2002's GTA: Vice City, is back on the dial. The reveal went up on Rockstar Newswire on October 8, 2026, along with previews of each station you can play right now on the official site.
The bigger change is how you listen. For the first time in the series, GTA 6 adds on-demand podcasts, and both radio and podcasts work on foot through in-game headphones and earbuds, not just in cars.
All 6 GTA 6 Radio Stations Revealed So Far
| Station | Genre | Hosts |
|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin | El Martillo and La Gata |
| Back Country Radio | Country | MW and Delta Dawne |
| AfroBank FM | African music | Burna and Palmsy |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Metal | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn and Alex |
| Dirty South Classics | Regional rap and hip-hop | Trick and Trina |
Rockstar calls this "the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet," and says the full lineup spans stations from classic rock to talk radio. Neither of those formats is in the first six, so expect more reveals before launch.
Cocoteo FM
Leonida's home for modern Latin music. Hosts El Martillo and La Gata play bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. Rockstar's tagline for it is "el party que nunca se apaga," the party that never switches off.

Back Country Radio
Renegade country from MW and Delta Dawne, broadcasting across the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond. The station also has a roving reporter, a swamp meteorologist, and Delta's "not-so-secret lover" Mud Dog Mike, who calls in from his airboat.

AfroBank FM
Burna and Palmsy curate African music, from 20th-century classics and lesser-known gems to current sounds like amapiano and 3-step.

The Chamber 106.6
The metal station. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom play decades of metal anthems, which Rockstar ties to "Leonida's deep metal roots."

Flash FM
The returning favourite. Flash FM was the 1980s pop station in GTA: Vice City, and Rockstar now calls it "the Vice City institution." In GTA 6 it is hosted by Robyn and Alex and plays pop music. Rockstar has not said whether any of the original Vice City tracks are coming back.

Dirty South Classics
Trick and Trina play regional rap and hip-hop classics, pitched as the station that "reps Leonida and the South" better than anyone. Rockstar lists the hosts by first name only and has not said who voices them.

Podcasts and Headphones Are New
Two listening changes stand out. First, GTA 6 adds a series of on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia, a first for the series. Rockstar has not named any podcasts or hosts yet.
Second, you are no longer limited to car radios. Both radio and podcasts play "in vehicles and on foot through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones," per Rockstar. In earlier games, the music mostly stopped the moment you stepped out of a car.
How to Listen to the Previews Now
Rockstar has put a preview of each station on the GTA 6 music page. Each one runs about two minutes and mixes host chatter with music. The same page streams singles from the official soundtrack.
GTA 6: The Album Is Separate From the Radio
Rockstar is also releasing Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game. It has 34 original tracks. Singles out so far include:
- "That's It" by Yung Lean, featuring Future and Metro Boomin
- "RHYNO" by Travis Scott
- "Last Thing You Need" by Morgan Wallen
- "Suzuki" by Fuerza Regida
- "Macacoa 2000" by Rauw Alejandro
- "Don't Chart" by Cardi B
- "Bright Lights, Big City" by Keith Richards
- "Sexy Magic" by CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy
- "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (debuted in the October 15 Launch Trailer)
Rockstar has not said which of these songs play on which in-game station.
The Score Is by Justice
The dynamic score Rockstar teased in its radio post now has a composer. On October 29, 2026, Rockstar named French duo Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay) as the composers of the game's original score. Rockstar describes it as an adaptive score, "dynamically tuned to the different ways players engage with the world" as you play.
- Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score has 30 tracks, plus digital bonus tracks.
- It comes out December 11, 2026 on streaming services, CD and vinyl, three weeks after the game.
- It includes "Flower in a Hurricane" and the single "Pusher" featuring Gesaffelstein.
The score album is separate from both the radio stations and The Album, which is the 34-track soundtrack of original songs.
What Is Not Confirmed Yet
Press coverage on October 8, 2026, including Forbes and Paste, attached real-world artists to the hosts: Bad Bunny as El Martillo, Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey as MW and Delta Dawne, Burna Boy as Burna, Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya as DJ Kerry and DJ Tom, and Trick Daddy and Trina on Dirty South Classics. Rockstar's own Newswire post and the official music page use only the in-game names, so we list those in the table and treat the real-world matches as reported until the game's credits confirm them.
Getting Ready for Launch
